We regularly operate in accordance with the  Allgemeine Deutsche Spediteurbedingungen 2017  -ADSp 2017- (German Forwarders’ General Terms and Conditions 2017). These limit in clause 23 ADSp the legal liability for damage to goods in case of damage to goods whilst in the care of a forwarder to 8.33 SDR/KG, in accordance with art. 431 of the German Commercial Code (HGB); in case of multimodal transports including sea transport to 2 SDR/KG. In addition, the liability is limited to € 1.25 Million per damage respectively to € 2.5 Million per event or 2 SDR/KG whichever is the greater. In case we issue a Bill of Lading/Seawaybill, the Bill of Lading/Seawaybill conditions take precedence over the ADSp 2017.
